The Department of Student Welfare (DSW) is responsible handling issues of students / grievance under the institutional guidelines, discipline and decorum among students on the college campus. It plays a crucial role in supporting students throughout their educational journey, aiming to enhance their overall well-being and academic success. It acts as a conduit between the college and the students.
Along with normal academic activities, DSW routinely conducts a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular events. To ensure the students entire growth, participants are consistently inspired and motivated. DSW has established a number of activity clubs since the G.C.R.G. offers sufficient chances for students to build their self-assurance curiosity in other cultures, creativity, leadership skills and feeling of teamwork. These extracurricular club assist students not only in discovering their hidden abilities, but also in developing their personalities and instilling a sense of order in them by giving them a venue to showcase their skills.
Udaan is the core segment of DSW. The G.C.R.G. annual festival, “UDAAN” is celebrated with a lot of funfair. This is a chance for the complete G.C.R.G. team to work together in support of making this fantastic endeavor a great success by giving the inter/ intra-college students a motivating platform so they can demonstrate their multi-talent in a presentable manner.
In Udaan students, not only present various cultural glimpses by presenting different programs but also exhibit the innovative and multitasking technical projects. This fest is rejoined like a festival where everyone gets certain sort of knowledge along with exciting entertainment. The highlights of the events are solo and group dance as well as singing, fashion show, drama, rangoli mehndi, photography etc. Numerous indoor and outdoor games such as cricket, badminton, volleyball, carrom, chess and table tennis are also part of the event. This occasion offers young people a fantastic opportunity to ignite the inner flame of their sense of style in he shape of vogue.
